Purple Party for All

This weekend, a WW in Oxford, MS hosted a “Purple Party” in honor of Loren Colin, an Independent, who is running for Congress in Los Angeles, CA. Colin has been on a goodwill tour throughout the States, visiting other states near and far from the West Coast to hear the diverse voices of liberal and conservative Americans and everything in between. Both Blue and Red were welcome to the party, which is why it was purple! Guests wore purple clothing, and there were purple cupcakes along with a spread of great eats from a local, black-owned, small business. While in town, Colin also visited nearby Taylor, MS where he met with folks at the Plein Air Christmas Market.
