WW and the NYT

Weren’t you glad to find that No Kings 3 in Oxford was one of 10 registered No Kings events in Mississippi?? There were at least 3,300 locations in the US as well as a number of International protests, and an estimated 8 million No Kings 3 protesters. 

We had a great sign making party and pot luck the night before No Kings with lots of good food and laughter as we checked out each other’s signs! 

Live musicians were a new addition to our Oxford’s No Kings. Protest songs from the past were a popular feature with the enthusiastic crowd of somewhere between 225 to 300 marchers. A number of groups set up tables including such diverse groups as the League Of Women Voters and Students for a Democratic Society.  Oxford was even mentioned with a quote from a participant in the New York Times No Kings article!
